About PrunePic
PrunePic is an iPhone app for cleaning up your photo library one swipe at a time. It is designed, built and supported by Edouard Barbier, an independent iOS developer.
Why PrunePic exists
Most iPhone photo libraries grow for years without anyone looking back. Thousands of screenshots, near-identical shots and long videos fill up storage, and cleaning them in the Photos app means selecting thumbnails one tap at a time.
PrunePic makes the same job feel quick: one photo on screen, one swipe to decide. A few minutes a day is enough to keep a library light.
Principles
- You decide what goes. PrunePic never deletes anything on its own. Every item waits in the PrunePic Trash until you empty it.
- Your photos stay on your iPhone. Everything happens on your device through Apple’s Photos framework. There is no server that stores or analyzes your photos.
- Honest about data. The app uses analytics to understand how it is used and which ads work. That never includes your photos. The privacy policy lists every service.
- A few minutes is enough. PrunePic is built for short sessions, so a cluttered library gets lighter a little every day.
