Clean up a trip while it is still fresh

Trips & Moments uses the location saved in your photos to group them by place. Pick a trip, swipe through it, and keep the best shots while you still remember which ones they are.

How Trips & Moments works

When you take a photo, your iPhone usually saves where it was taken. Trips & Moments reads that location and groups your photos by place. Choose a trip from the list and PrunePic shows only those photos in your feed.

You can browse trips from a period you pick, from last week up to a specific year, in the My Trips view.

Why clean up right after a trip

A week away can easily add a few hundred photos. Right after you get back, you still remember which shot of the beach was the good one, so decisions are fast. Six months later, they all look the same and it is tempting to keep everything.

Sort the trip biggest first to start with the items that take the most space, usually videos.

Keep the best, file them together

Swipe right to add your favorite shots to Favorites. With album filing you can also drop the keepers straight into an album for that trip as you swipe, so the holiday is organized by the time you finish.

Privacy

PrunePic never asks for your location. It reads the location that is already inside each photo, on your iPhone, through Apple’s Photos framework. Nothing is uploaded.

Why are some photos missing from my trips?

Photos without location data cannot be placed. That includes screenshots, photos saved from other apps, and photos taken with location access turned off for the Camera.

How far back can Trips & Moments go?

You can review trips from the last week, the last month, the last three or six months, this year, last year, or a specific year.
